  Fish were being neutral to negative and it was very hard to trigger a bite. I threw on an emerald shiner jig on 2 lb line to try some finesse fishing. This big girl slammed the jig and took off running. I wish I knew how long the battle actually was, it seems like forever in my mind. I got her up in the hole one time and my buddy missed the landing! After another bit of fighting I managed to get her landed, measured, and get a few photos before sending her back to the lake for another day.
